Establishing the UNIQ Group in 2001, Veki has successfully built one of the largest privately owned residential property wholesale and finance businesses in Victoria with his partner Liz Licari. Focusing his attention on the finance arm of the UNIQ brand, Veki is widely known in the development industry for being a problem solver and completing complex funding structures. UNIQ Finance has access to a variety of commercial and residential lending providers from the big four banks, specialised commercial and private funders. Veki has also been a match committee member for the North Melbourne Football Club for the past seven years and takes a personal interest in contributing to the ongoing development of players beyond their football career. To this day Veki still holds the record for the largest single transaction through an aggregator – $94M.
With a professional career spanning over 18 years, Liz brings experience, passion and forward-thinking to her role as National Sales Director. Coupled with excellent leadership and customer relationship skills, Liz has the vision and creative flair to oversee the management, marketing and sales approach for every project. She inspires and encourages her professional, vibrant and personable team every step of the way.
As General Manager to the UNIQ Group, Bryce’s experience has positioned him perfectly to understand the dynamic between finance and property and how to best integrate both to effectively leverage off each business. Having spent 9 years with AFG, over the course of that time Bryce assisted in the development of internal systems to streamline business development. It is this experience Bryce has drawn on to assist UNIQ in implementing improved efficiencies in their own internal systems.
After a gap year working in municipal valuations Matt went on to graduate RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2012 with First Class Honours. Matt then resumed his career in commercial valuations, working at m3property for the next four years. Matt worked in numerous roles, some of which included advisory work, and more particularly commercial valuations to large institutional funds. The experience gained in research, statistical analysis, comparable evidence analysis and report writing skills has positioned Matt well to offer his clients at UNIQ that same methodology in the residential market. Passionate about property, Matt undertakes the commitment to provide sincere and forthright advice to his clients with the transparency he relies on when investing himself. When not researching, Matt loves spending time with his expanding family and also playing football on the Surf Coast with his Torquay Tigers.
Will joined UNIQ just over a year ago and not to be outdone by Matt, also completed his Bachelor Applied Science at RMIT with First Class Honours. Developing his work experience across various aspects of property including construction, commercial and residential valuation, Will has now taken that experience and focused it on growing his portfolio at UNIQ. With his easy-going nature and ability to be a calming influence in any situation Will has established a strong portfolio that rely on him to work closely with their purchasers when looking to buy a property. When he’s not working he’s helping his brother run their growing cold pressed juice business.
Hamish joined the UNIQ team late last year after completing a successful AFL career spanning 13 years and 126 games with North Melbourne and Geelong respectively. With numerous media and coaching commitments to keep him busy Hamish has effortlessly made the transition to the UNIQ team. Rapidly gaining a reputation for a strong relationship focused management style crafted from his footy career Hamish is finding his feet in the real world effortlessly. With a diverse property portfolio of his own Hamish is successfully bringing his two interests of sport and property together to add value to the UNIQ team.
With a corporate background in distribution and logistics, David is able to bring that 15 years experience to his relationship style within his portfolio. With his methodical nature and approach David’s clients have come to expect detailed and informative updates across all related topics that directly or indirectly effect their business. David’s calm approach has positioned him ideally for those associates that depend on him to nurture their purchasers through the process of buying a property. As a father of four much of David’s spare time is taken up enjoying family life.
As EA to both Directors and Office Manager, Rachel’s extensive experience in property has prepared her for the demands of her dual roles. Managing the complex schedules kept by the Directors, Rachel’s skills in juggling have endeared her to this very busy couple. Additionally, with her easy going nature and attention to detail as the central point of contact for all staff and external suppliers, Rachel keeps the inner workings of the UNIQ office running smoothly.
Stephen has been with UNIQ Group for 8 years in the capacity of Financial Controller. Gaining his Bachelor of Business from Monash University, Stephens background in financial administration was primarily gained in the public sector with regional water and wastewater authorities. A proud grandfather, Stephen spends a lot of his time running trail runs with his children and grandchildren and completed a half iron man in 2012 at the youthful age of 60.
